What's New: Redesigned campaign posts and smarter Bitcoin matching

Hey Fans! Two things landed this week: campaign posts got a real redesign, and Bitcoin donations now match the way donors actually pay.

Posts that read like campaign updates

Easier to read. Posts use a narrower reading column with new type, clearer headings, and tables that scroll inside their frame on phones. Links in dark mode use a calmer color for long reads.

Your title comes first. Post pages drop the campaign cover photo for a compact campaign row, so the post title leads. On phones, the title starts about 80px higher.

A clear next step at the end. Every post now ends with a Support {your campaign} card: your short summary, goal progress (if the campaign has a goal), Donate now, and Share this post. Members see a thank-you and Share instead of another ask. Below that is a quieter email signup and a link back to All posts.

New: Short summary. Add one sentence (up to 160 characters) about what a gift does in your campaign settings. It shows at the end of every post, beside the Donate button.

Alt text for images. The post editor's image toolbar now has an ALT button, and published images use the alt text you write. Captioned images without alt text aren't read twice by screen readers.

Bitcoin donations that match the way people pay

Rounded amounts count. Donors often send a round number instead of the exact invoice amount. A payment within 10% of the invoice now completes the donation. The old tolerance was 1,000 sats.

Late and split payments complete. After the donor leaves the payment page, MemberDrive keeps checking the invoice address for up to 7 days. A payment sent later, or in two parts, still completes the checkout.

Receipts show what arrived. Receipts and payment details now show the Bitcoin amount actually received, across every transaction to the invoice address.

Also fixed

When a member used Pay now on a scheduled membership payment, the membership could stay in "waiting for payment" even though the payment went through. It now activates right away.

Why it matters

Posts are where supporters hear from you between asks. Now each one reads cleanly and ends with an easy way to give or share. And when a Bitcoin donor sends a round number or pays a little late, the gift still lands where it should.
