Record Offline Acknowledgements
1. With MemberDrive it's easy to record acknowledgements that you send to your members, either via email or offline with a thank-you card, phone call, or personal contact.
First, login to MemberDrive and go to your organization's dashboard.
2. Click "Members", then click "Acknowledgements"
3. You can sort this report by any of the columns.
The Unacknowledged column shows all the member's donations since the last time an acknowledgement was sent.
The Payments column shows all the donations that the member has given.
Last Payment indicates the member's most recent payment.
The Acknowledged column shows the date of the last acknowledgement, if any.
4. Find the member that you'd like to acknowledge, and click the "Send" button.
5. In the screen that pops up, you'll see a summary of the donations by this member You can type an internal note to ourselves here.
6. We can also optionally deliver this note by email. Just check the box for "Deliver email" enter an email message.
When you click "Save Acknowldgement" this note will be delivered by email.
7. If you don't want to email the donor, un-check the "Deliver email" box and click "Save Acknowledgement".
8. Now that we've acknowledged this donor, we can also run the report and see\ the report of which donations or which donors have been acknowledged and which ones still need to be sent.
