How to Cancel a Recurring Donation

Sometimes it happens: a mamber will ask to cancel their upcoming donation, or to cancel their recurring membreship. As an organization admin, you can do this for them in just a few steps.

Login to MemberDrive

You'll need to be an organization admin to do this.

  1. Click Member Login in the upper-right corner.
  2. Enter your email address. Be sure to use the same email address that you used when setting up your donation or pledge.
  3. In just a second or two, you should receive an email containing a one-time password. You can either copy and paste this password into the screen on MemberDrive, or click the link in the email to be logged in automatically.

Navigate to your Organization Dashboard

  1. After you've logged in, click "My Memberships" in the upper navigation menu.
  2. Look for your organization under "Admin Organizations"
  3. Click "Dashboard" next to your organization's name.
  4. In the left-hand navigation, click "Recurring Memberships"
  5. Look for the recurring membership that you want to cancel. You can also filter by member name or email address.
  6. Click on the membership that you want to cancel.
  7. Click "Edit" in the upper-right corner of the page.
  8. Click "Cancel this Membership" at the bottom of the page.
  9. Confirm that you want to cancel the membership.
  10. The membership status will be changed to "Canceled" and no further payments will be processed.
