Hey Fans! Quick one — but it puts more of every gift where you meant it to go.

Donation forms now check Cover estimated fees by default. Donors can still uncheck it. You can turn the default on or off per campaign under Campaign → Settings → Donation form.

What's New

Checked by default. New checkouts start with “Cover estimated fees” on, so more gifts land at the full intended amount unless a donor opts out.

Per-campaign control. Each campaign has a Cover processing fees by default setting in the new Donation form card (alongside goal, annualize recurring, and receipt message). Existing campaigns get the new default turned on.

Donors stay in control. Anyone can uncheck the box on the form. An explicit donor choice always wins over the campaign default.

Why it matters

Processing fees are a fact of online giving. Making cover-fees the starting point — with a clear opt-out and a campaign-level switch — means more of each donation reaches the mission without adding friction for people who prefer not to cover fees.
