What's New: Password and social sign-in

Hey! Quick one today — but it unlocks a lot of friction.

You can now sign in to MemberDrive three ways: the emailed one-time code you already know, an email + password, or Google (Facebook too, when that provider is enabled). Same session underneath, so everything that already worked — staying on the page you meant to open, admin “login as,” live updates — still works.

Password sign-in, with Google and emailed-code option

What's New

Password sign-in. Prefer a password? Use email + password on the sign-in page. New passwords need at least 10 characters, with live strength feedback as you type. Forgot it? Sign in with an emailed code, then set a new password under Sign-in & security — no separate “forgot password” maze.

Google (and Facebook) sign-in. One click for people who already live in those accounts. New users can sign up that way; existing users can connect or disconnect providers from Sign-in & security in the user menu.

Member Login in the nav. Desktop “Member Login” and mobile “Sign In” now open the password sign-in page by default (still linked to the emailed-code option). Full page load so password managers like 1Password can find the fields reliably.

Why it matters

Campaign admins and members shouldn’t have to wait on an email every time they need to hop back into MemberDrive. Password and social sign-in keep the door open without giving up the passwordless path that already works for donors who prefer it.
